Consultation Fees

Children of under the age 16, Aged Pension Card holders and DSP Card holders are bulk billed during weekdays.

All other Centrelink concession holders are charged a reduced fee.

Fees must be paid in full at the time of consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit cards.

A private fee for a standard consultation is $70.00 with a $37.05 rebate from Medicare (you are out of pocket $32.95), for concession cardholders the fee for a standard consultation is $60.00 with a $37.05 rebate (out of pocket $22.95). We are happy to lodge your Medicare claim form for you.

Longer consultations are charged at higher rates, over 20 minutes $115.00 with Medicare rebate of $71.70 (out of pocket $43.30).

Saturday fees; standard consultation fee is $75.00 with a $37.05 rebate from Medicare (you are out of pocket $37.95).  For children from the age of 10 to 16 and pensioners 65 – 74 the fee is $65.00 with a $37.05 rebate (out of pocket $27.95).    Children under 10 and pensioners over 75 are bulk billed.

Please be aware some procedures and medicals can incur a higher charge.

A private fee of $5.00 is charged for prescriptions and repeat specialist referral letters prepared by the doctor outside of a consultation.  Please ask staff if you wish to receive a comprehensive list of fees.
